The Dove award-winning trio, Building 429 launches into a new season, recently signing a new label deal with INO Records and creating a new, self-titled album scheduled to release on Oct. 21. "End of Me" is the first single from their fourth studio record.

Jason Roy, Michael Anderson and Jesse Garcia have come a long way since their debut album Space In Between Us (2004) and are excited for the new changes that have come their way and for the new relationship with INO Records.

Women have converged on Focusfest for 16 years – partly because they ‘feel safe’ to worship there. Clive Price reports on this growing phenomenon.

Amid claims that women have been abandoning their churches across the UK, thousands of others have been flocking to a major worship event.

102.4 Shine FM has moved (no, not the studio!) but its transmitter to a great, high, high position courtesy of Toymaster in Banbridge.

The community station which broadcasts on 102.4 FM to the Banbridge area has improved its signal significantly after the move,which has also enabled the station to broadcast in FM stereo. Shine FM Chairman, Dougie Barr, is delighted with the increased range of Shine FM and has paid tribute to all the volunteers and the regulator, OFCOM who have made this possible. “Shine FM”, Dougie comments “goes from strength to strength and the transmitter move means that Shine is now reaching a bigger potential audience than before!”.

The range has yet to be verified but initial findings are very promising. Check us out on 102.4 FM, Dougie is asking that all listeners text the station on 079 252 898 20 with reception reports.

Shine FM is an OFCOM licensed community radio station with a Christian ethos; all its Directors and Presenters are volunteers.

In a separate piece of news, Shine is due to announce a major overhaul of its programme schedule to reflect the growing needs of the Banbridge District Council area.
