Close to me, the New CD, will have its official launch night in Lurgan Elim on Friday the 28th of November at 8: 00pm

Lurgan Elim is the home church of both Andi and his wife Grace and it is there that the new album will receive its official launch. It will be an intimate night where Andi will perform the songs from the the new CD as well as sharing some of the journey that has culminated in the production of this exciting new album; recorded in the home of Contemporary Christian Music, Nashville TN.

50 Million for Wycliffe UK


Wycliffe Bible Translators USA has received fifty million dollars towards the worldwide work of Bible translation! But while this will be a tremendous contribution to the work of making the Bible available around the world, none of the money will come to Wycliffe UK.

This generous gift received by Wycliffe US from an anonymous donor will be used to fund Bible translation and language development work around the world. But as every Wycliffe organisation is autonomous there is no automatic sharing of donation income across international borders.

CALLING ALL MARATON RUNNERS! The Ireland Air Ambulance NEEDS YOU!

The Ireland Air Ambulance Charity is asking for help from professional and amateur Marathon runners alike to help raise much needed funds for the Region’s first ever Helicopter Emergency Medical Service due to come into service in mid 2009.


They want to hear from as many entrants of the 2009 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon as possible - taking place on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2009 - to ask each person to run on behalf of the Charity and to raise as much sponsorship as possible to help launch and run this new life saving service.

102.4 Shine FM have just launched the latest in a series of Quiz Sheets to help much needed funds for the station.

This time round the sheets are all anagrams of Sweets for instance

'A Cliche To Come' could be 'Chocolate Mice'.

Listen in to 102.4 Shine FM for the clues given out during the next few weeks to help you complete the sheets!!

Sheets cost a £1 and are available from the station, The Faith Mission Bookshop and other retail outlets in the town. Entry details and were to send the completed sheets are available from the station

You could be winning our fabulous first prize, kindly sponsored by Windsor Bakery, A Christmas Cake worth £20 or the second prize of a Tin of Christmas Sweets

Hadleigh Salvation Army Band Visits Sydenham

Join The Salvation Army at Belfast Sydenham for celebrations with Hadleigh Salvation Army band next weekend (22nd and 23rd November).

The weekend visit will commence with a Saturday Evening Concert at (7:30pm) at the Church Hall, Station Mews, Sydenham (off Holywood Road, East Belfast). Tickets £4 available in advance from Valerie Kelly at 028 9146 8292 or Philip Pentland 07931 879587.

The band will also take part in Sunday worship with meetings at 10am and 3pm. Captain Noel Wright, previous minister at Belfast Sydenham will lead the meeting.

A warm welcome is extended to everyone.
