102.4 Shine FM: Getting Involved
102.4 Shine FM broadcasting 24 hours a day for 365 days over a five year period.... that is 168 hours a week!!! This takes a huge amount of work and a large number of people.
The Shine FM team is made up of people from all sorts of backgrounds the majority of whom have no previous experience in the media. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers willing to give of their time and energy to make this exciting project a great success! We provide training in all aspects of the work and it has been shown that involvement can help to provide experience for those interested in pursuing a media-related career!
If you would like to be part of this growing ministry, there are lots of opportunities and just some simple requirements: to be flexible, teachable and able to work with others. You can get involved part-time or full-time. Sorry no pay, but lots of exciting challenges!
Full-time
We are looking for staff to join us full-time. Key qualities for long-term staff are humility, a willingness to learn and to serve the local people of Banbridge. Please pray and see if God wants you to make a long-term commitment to Shine FM. E-mail us and let us know why you want to move to Banbridge and be a part of the Shine FM team.
Part-time
If you live locally, you could help out in many areas of running the station for anything from one hour a week upwards! E-mail us and let us know if you are interested in joining the team.
Some key areas where we need help are as follows: -
Administration, Receptionist, Sound Engineering, News Team, Reporter, Marketing, Church Representatives, Web Design and Development, Prayer Supporter, Publicity , and Presenters, Advertising and PR , Station Maintenance

Take you first steps into broadcasting and study at the local College to get a diploma.
Join our team and meet loads of interesting new people from all walks of life, by raising awareness and funds.
Help with web design and media presentations.
Help bring community news and events to everyone's homes.
Dedicate a song to someone you care about or pass on a special message
